Whether you like it or not, pop culture is an important part
of our society. In any form—television, movies, literature, music, etc—pop culture
is a reflection of the time. It’s no coincidence that there is an influx of
superhero films prior to the presidential election within the last decade or
two, or that there are now reality shows about any subject. Society’s state of mind manifests
itself into something more accessible, like a television show, to flesh out ideas
in a way to which people can relate.
The aim of this blog is to help flesh out these ideas. Sometimes
they can be a little dense, and usually offer more than one way to view them,
but The Venus Flytrap is where my views come to light.
